He earned his degree in Medicine from the prestigious Chengalpattu Medical College in 1988 andembarked on his journey in the field of medical science. He did his masters degree in Ophthalmology from JJ Medical College, Davangere. With over 30 years of expertise in Healthcare, Dr Annamalai Pandian is leading the Deepam Hospitals Group as its Founder and Chairman and held the top most administrative positions of various reputed organisations throughout his career.
His impeccable talent in helathcare and passion to be a leader, made one of his own teaching professor to partner with him as a consultant to open his first venture JSP Hospital along with his friends.
From there he kick started his expansion into Deepam Hospitals Group. Deepam caters to over 250000 patients anually across borders and has about 10 branches presently catering to public health. Deepam is also expanding into exclusive Eye Hospital Chain.
In addition to this, he has also served as the chairman and Director of Eminent private hospitals, Eye hospitals and many Research Training Associate Centers Dr Annamalai Pandian has made significant contributions to the tamilnadu health care industry and still continues his journey to build a consolidated healthcare platform for others to develop and also to mentor fellow health care entrepreneurs all over the world. He received international recognition as advisor to the Vice President Somaliland and also he served as the Member of All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA) and Indian Medical Association.

He also shares the advisor board panel for Azotus Pharmaceuticals, Regenix Ltd, FMDS Private limited and IBL Ltd. His focus on quality timely service and customer riendly approach makes him excel in whatever he does. Dr Pandian has also established two companies in Chennai, India and in New Jersey in the USA. He has also aligned with various health care conglomerates like Bhargav Associates - Healthcare Architect, VPMM Group of Institutions, Nova Builders, Revature Group - IT Experts, Finstein- Advisory Group for Finance and Al.
